Versatilic
Refuge
by Joanna M. Weston
I run into a
sonnet
slam the door
on a chase of triolets
lean on pantoums back
catch my iambic pentameter
peer through a cinquain
at a sneer of senyru
marching with quatrains
down a line of couplets
Im under attack
running from verses
terminal and ekphrastic
afraid of being stabbed
by a golden shovel
buried under centos
