The Busker
by Roger
Pattison
He was grubby.
He was not a little smelly. His shoes opened at
the sole to show a pair of very distressed socks.
Hed been
sat outside Marks and Spencers all
afternoon and hadnt played so much as one C
chord, and yet his open guitar case overflowed
with cash.
The sign said,
simply, If you dont put something in
here, Ill start singing.
The End. (Sung
to the tune of 'Danny Boy')
