I’m attracted to the
High Plains. I don’t much like them when
they’re low. They don’t have as much to
offer. When the land climbs, I feel myself rise,
too. Like I’m leaving behind the things that
get me down. It’s nice to see from the
ground what you usually have to fly to see. That’s
why I like the High Plains. Is that something you
can understand?
