The glasses that
were on my nose
Were no longer there in repose
But hiding where no one knows
And adding to my daily woesAgitated and blindly shaken
I retraced the steps that I had taken
Only to not see them any place
Because they werent on my face
To provide vision very clear
Through the blur far and near
High and low from
ceiling to floor
I looked and looked and then once more
Then my wife joined in the search
And looked on every shelf and perch
Soon she turned and
looked at me
And lo and behold what did I see
But my glasses on her face
Which she had put on in place
Of her own which were not around
So she just used what she found
